Seg\u00fan la Academia Americana de Pediatr\u00eda (AAP), deben comer alimentos de todos estos grupos todos los d\u00edas: <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Frutas y verduras<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dar 5-6 raciones peque\u00f1as al d\u00eda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prueba con colores diferentes, como manzanas rojas, guisantes verdes y zanahorias naranjas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Las frutas frescas, congeladas o enlatadas son buenas opciones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Granos<\/h3>\n\n<p>La Academia de Nutrici\u00f3n y Diet\u00e9tica dice que los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os deben comer 6 raciones diarias de cereales, como:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cereales<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arroz<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pasta<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u00a1Intenta que la mitad sean cereales integrales!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alimentos proteicos<\/h3>\n\n<p>Los CDC (Centros para el Control de Enfermedades) dicen que los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os necesitan de 2 a 3 raciones de prote\u00ednas al d\u00eda:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Carne<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pollo<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pescado<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Huevos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jud\u00edas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tofu<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u00e1cteos<\/h3>\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el USDA (Departamento de Agricultura de Estados Unidos), los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os necesitan de 2 a 3 raciones de l\u00e1cteos al d\u00eda:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Leche<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yogur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Queso<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>U otros alimentos ricos en calcio si tu hijo no puede tomar l\u00e1cteos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00bfCu\u00e1nto deben comer los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os?<\/h2>\n\n<p>La AAP nos dice que las raciones de los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os son mucho m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as que las de los adultos. Una raci\u00f3n de un ni\u00f1o peque\u00f1o es aproximadamente: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1 cucharada de comida por a\u00f1o de edad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2-3 comidas peque\u00f1as y 2-3 tentempi\u00e9s al d\u00eda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Porciones peque\u00f1as que puedan terminar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hacer las comidas divertidas y seguras<\/h2>\n\n<p>Los CDC dan estos consejos para que comer sea seguro y divertido:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Corta los alimentos en trozos peque\u00f1os (no mayores de \u00bd pulgada)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vigila siempre a tu hijo peque\u00f1o mientras come<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Haz que se sienten en una mesa para comer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Haz que las comidas sean coloridas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deja que intenten alimentarse solos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comed juntos en familia cuando pod\u00e1is<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Alimentos con los que hay que tener cuidado<\/h2>\n\n<p>La AAP dice que hay que tener cuidado con estos alimentos que pueden provocar atragantamiento:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Uvas enteras (c\u00f3rtalas por la mitad)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perritos calientes (cortados a lo largo y en trozos peque\u00f1os)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Caramelos duros<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nueces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Zanahorias crudas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Palomitas de ma\u00edz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Elecci\u00f3n de bebidas saludables<\/h2>\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la AAP y los CDC:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>El agua es la mejor bebida<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leche entera hasta los 2 a\u00f1os (unas 16-24 onzas al d\u00eda)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nada de bebidas azucaradas como refrescos o ponche de frutas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limita el zumo a 4 onzas o menos al d\u00eda<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Consejos para comedores quisquillosos<\/h2>\n\n<p>La Academia de Nutrici\u00f3n y Diet\u00e9tica sugiere:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deja que prueben alimentos nuevos muchas veces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Haz que la comida parezca divertida<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deja que ayuden a recoger frutas y verduras<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No les obligues a comer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ten paciencia: \u00a1comer de forma quisquillosa es normal!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cosas importantes que debes recordar<\/h2>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cada ni\u00f1o es diferente y puede comer cantidades distintas cada d\u00eda<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Los ni\u00f1os peque\u00f1os saben cu\u00e1ndo tienen hambre y cu\u00e1ndo est\u00e1n llenos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unos d\u00edas comen m\u00e1s, otros menos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Las revisiones peri\u00f3dicas con tu m\u00e9dico te ayudan a asegurarte de que crecen bien<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u00f3nde obtener m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n<p>Para obtener la informaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s actualizada, consulta estas fuentes de confianza:<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Academia Americana de Pediatr\u00eda (AAP): <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aap.org\">www.aap.org<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Centros para el Control de Enfermedades (CDC): <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cdc.gov\">www.cdc.gov<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academia de Nutrici\u00f3n y Diet\u00e9tica: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eatright.org\">www.eatright.org<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>USDA: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usda.gov\">www.usda.gov<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><em>Recuerda: Esta gu\u00eda ofrece informaci\u00f3n general.
