La Academia Americana de Pediatr\u00eda (AAP) afirma que la mayor\u00eda de los ni\u00f1os est\u00e1n preparados entre los 18 meses y los 3 a\u00f1os. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Se\u00f1ales de que tu hijo podr\u00eda estar preparado:<\/h3>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Permanece seco durante 2 horas o m\u00e1s<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Te avisa cuando necesita hacer pis o caca<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Puede subir y bajar los pantalones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Muestra inter\u00e9s por el ba\u00f1o<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Puede seguir instrucciones sencillas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quiere llevar ropa interior de \u00abni\u00f1o grande<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Tener un orinal especial puede hacer que el entrenamiento sea menos aterrador<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C\u00f3mo empezar<\/h2>\n\n<p>La Cl\u00ednica Mayo sugiere estos pasos para empezar el entrenamiento para ir al ba\u00f1o:<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primeros pasos:<\/h3>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Consigue un orinal especial<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Elige palabras para pip\u00ed y caca que tu familia utilice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leed juntos libros sobre el control de esf\u00ednteres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deja que tu hijo te vea ir al ba\u00f1o (para aprender)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">M\u00e9todos de entrenamiento divertidos<\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. El m\u00e9todo de los tres d\u00edas<\/h3>\n\n<p>Del libro \u00abPotty Training in 3 Days\u00bb de Carol Cline:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Qu\u00e9date en casa tres d\u00edas<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deja que tu hijo no lleve pantalones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vigila las se\u00f1ales de que necesitan irse<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ll\u00e9valos al orinal cada 2 horas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Ayudar a tu hijo a sentirse seguro y apoyado es importante<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2.
